Acknowledgement are Hiring Visual and Flash Designers

Acknowledgement are on the lookout for middle-weight visual designers and flash designers to join our growing creative team in the heart of London's digital hub!

We are a small company with a super-talented team and an exciting client base. We work on a huge variety of projects. Candidates must be passionate about designing for internet and mobile technologies, and keen to learn new skills.

Things you'll be working on include:

  • Mobile apps
  • Facebook apps
  • Microsites
  • Mobile websites
  • Large and small content-managed websites
  • Intranets / extranets

As our design projects are so varied we'll be most interested in candidates with a wide range of skills. This is a great opportunity for visual and flash designers who enjoy designing for all aspects of mobile and web development.

Visual Designers - Essential experience:

  • Producing wireframes, where required, for websites or micro sites
  • Designing original creative website concepts against client brief
  • Understanding and adhering to web design best practice, including accessibility compliance standards
  • Participating in idea generating meetings by carrying out research in advance, proposing ideas, taking meeting notes and condensing the ideas into concepts or other presentable formats
  • Produce original Flash online advertising formats based on concepts or scamps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Candidates must have previous experience working in an agency environment.

Visual Designers  - Preferred skills:

  • Experience in designing for Designing mobile interfaces for Blackberry, Android and iOS
  • Knowledge of UX design and Internet Architecture planning
  • Digital Illustration
  • Knowledge of Actionscript
  • Client-facing experience

Flash Designers - Essential experience:

  • Ability to code in Actionscript (AS2 or AS3)
  • Produce original Flash online advertising formats and Flash websites based on concepts or scamps
  • Conceptualise ideas and layouts for online advertising and flash microsites
  • Produce resized versions of Flash online advertising formats
  • Localising Flash online advertising formats for the markets our clients operate in
  • Understanding and adhering to advertising specifications provided by our clients, media agencies or ad serving technology companies
  • Testing all advertising formats to ensure that they meet the original brief and what has been signed off by the client
  • Keeping up to date with developments in online advertising by continually reviewing the competitive landscape and sharing this knowledge with the rest of the agency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Candidates must have previous experience working in an agency environment.

Flash Designers - Preferred skills:

  • Digital Illustration
  • Client-facing experience
