We developed this free app to increase buzz and conversation around Geordie Shore series 2, premiering on 31st of January on MTV.
The app allows users to see what fans are saying about the show and follow cast members' tweets. Users can get involved by tweeting from any screen in the app. Other features include leaderboards for the most followed cast members, a Tweet Map displaying where in the world GShore is being talked about most and access to the latest videos.
Since its launch we have received some great coverage on C21, Digital Spy and IMDB.

“We were really excited to develop this app for MTV UK, as we see second-screen as being the future of the TV experience in the dialogue age. The second-screen phenomenon is helping broadcasters promote and maintain buzz around key shows and is kick-starting a revival of event TV. People nowadays want to communicate while they are watching their favourite TV shows and as such see the social second-screen experience as an integral part of their enjoyment of a show. They look forward to it as much as the actual programme content.”
