Our Work: London Jazz Festival Interactive Map

Earlier this year we designed and launched London Jazz Festival's new website.  More recently we were asked to develop an interactive map that would showcase where the European artists performing at the upcoming London Jazz Festival come from in Europe.

The map, which can be viewed here, highlights those nations with featured artists in bold purple to create visual stand-out.  A marker sits on each country indicating how many performing artists are from that country, the size of the markers reflects the number of performers from the nation.

When a user clicks on a country, the page scrolls down to an artists listing section featuring a brief introduction to the artist, links to their events, as well as more general information on the artist.

The map is also being hosted on the London Jazz Festival Facebook page.
